Both have massive populations and a hard working studious attitude is probably common too, but the political scene is different and I'd guess India has more poverty and a greater degree of income inequality. Both are growing economies also

well one is a democracy and the other is not. China is one of the few reminding Communist Country were protested your government could get you imprisoned or even shot so no I do not think they are similar

I mean, they're both asian countries but thats as similar as they get. India has more in common with pakistan and bangladesh than it does with china.
