Everyone is here for different reasons. Some people like to connect and others prefer to just keep things lighter and transactional. It's about finding the right people for you.

Speaking only for myself, I am busy, have a full time job, wife and family that take up a lot of my time.

Not everyone lives full-time on t'Internet, let alone on particular site like this one.

And you couldl reverse your accusation to ask why people don't arrange their times on SW to match yours.

It’s all relevant to the individual person, some days I could chat all day, others not at all. Some people aren’t here to chat, and some only want to talk about what they want.

Although, I don't think people have to be here on demand I'm not sensing that's what you're talking about.
And I really do get it.
Unfortunately, here that's the way it mostly is.
Most people seem to be looking for something they're not looking to give anything.
