Civic sense, who should be teaching it to the kids?

The kids, showing disrespectful behavior and misbehaving. Is it parents? Is it a school who has the responsibility?

I feel the older generations who are much better raised that way. What do you guys think?

Whatever happened to basic decency ?

Be respectful of anyone...EVERYONE.

Much as I hate to say it i suspect a lot of family problems are due to the fact that there's no primary caregiver role in families these days.

Parents have been told to get out into the world of work and stop being a burden on 'government resources'.
Only, they're not 'government resources'
They're 'family resources'.

When you let government define the roles your society plays, THAT'S when you get the mess you have now !

That's another important distinction.
Children were once a sign of joy.
A being raised with love, ethics and morals developing their own sense of ideals over time.

Mum or Dad was able to stay home and care for their children while the other went out to work.
They earned a livable wage that took care of living expenses and enabled modest savings for running a car or trips and holidays etc

Can you honestly say the same is true today ?

If Parents aren't home to raise their children and communities like church or temple get ever more extreme in their OWN doctrine rather than being there for the community, who's raising your children ?
