Home with Chiara
Edoardo and I have spent a lovely afternoon together and enjoyed a lunch and a little tour of a beautiful little town in the environs of Rome, to the south of the city.
We have been talking about how we could have a new property outside the city to escape to at the weekend if we wanted it. I am a city dweller who has a great love of Sicilian countryside and goes there as often as I can. I would prefer us to buy there if we are to get a second property but Edoardo is mindful of the time and everything that it would mean.
When Chiara returns from her piano lesson we might talk about it and see what she thinks about the idea. I am sure that it will be a great upheaval in our lives. I have been very happy with the lifestyle I have lived with my daughter these last eleven years. Obviously, getting married will be a big change.
