how to stop myself exploding with anger at someone online who posts something not true
i've had incidences in times gone by online when chatting with someone and they posted something about me which was not true, and also assumed something which was also ' not true'....well i take things like this seriously, especially someone getting ideas about me which isn't true? and i thought at those times ' where did they get that idea from?' ' why did they think that?'
in all those incidences i turned very aggressive towards these people, nearly exploding with rage, verging on threatening them, but never did go that far...as i didn't want trouble....but i never heard from those people again, and in those incidences they never answered me or explained why they posted those false things, when i asked them why they thought the things they did, they just stopped responding, and i never heard from them again.
and whenever i get angry, i can really 'lose my temper', especially if something like what i describe happens.
so just want to know if this sort of things happens again, how should you respond? because i tend to take it personally and get very angry with that person.
