Mine is I'm always prepared to never talk to certain people ever again

Also knowing the truth but then waiting to see if they are going to lie

I'm always prepared to never talk to anyone again. I've gotten used to the inevitability of people being gone or screwing up and passing through so I let myself be ok with it and move forward.
