The bouts of depression that still happen. I almost declined my best friend’s invitation to stay with her for Christmas and my birthday. I’m really glad I didn’t because I had a wonderful time, and I got to see Pop’s new house since he, my youngest sister and niece moved up North (they live 30 minutes away from my friend). The depression hit after I’d returned home and was alone…but I was able to ride it out and felt better after a few days.
