The older I get the more I realize ppl always know what they are doing, claiming ignorance is a shield.

I give less and less benefit of the doubt.. If I know when I am not being truthful and manipulative, so does everyone else..

I think the craziest part is, how we have absorbed a lot more of our sense of self than we realize. Starting with our parents, guardians, or whoever helped shape us as we were growing up.

And then we work for so long to sift through that and shed the parts we really aren’t. It takes a while, and it takes courage to be honest with yourself mainly. @Teggy
