why do people think sensitivity is bad?

I don't get it. Cause sensitive people usually aren't bad. Most of us are good people that love, care, show concern, etc. for other people. We have a strength that's very helpful to us so we can make a positive decision or see things in a different way. If we can be good people then why would other people want to hurt us? I don't get it at all. It's a good personality trait if you see the advantages to it.

I never understood this either because I'm also really sensitive. In recent times though I've met people who I would call overly-sensitive and I understand the frustration that other people have toward sensitive people. The annoyance comes with the sensitive person perceiving an insult where there was no insult so you find yourself walking on eggshells around that person.
