How often are you open with your feelings?

Not often. The last time I was open, I was later told I was pretending. People believe their own conclusions over what you're actually feeling... so what's the point in trying.

I'm finding it's better to express feelings in a creative way rather than to another human being (which is difficult to accept since connection is important to me). But even then, sadly, people will criticize another's creative expression if it doesn't suit them.
