I am so fucking sick of how overly sensitive people are these days
Can't even have a conversation with fellow fans about a tv show without them getting all pissy over it.
Apparently I was 'noing' them.. never heard that one before. So basically, they couldn't handle that someone didn't automatically agree with them but instead pointed out that they were wrong. I'm seeing that happen a lot...and this is just a tv show.. I'd hate to see how they handle people telling them they're wrong about things that actually matter.
I have no interest in guns but something I do know about them is that they don't go off as easily as they do some movies etc. So all I did was point out that guns don't go off on their own after a bit of jiggling or turbulence, so one in a show with vastly superior alien technology would also not go off on it's own. And the fact that the character wouldn't put himself at risk in the way this person thought the character was doing.
I wasn't being a dick or implying that they were stupid or anything.
But they just couldn't handle someone pointing out a little fact. That's all it was.
