It's probably not a good idea to harass a person in need, then apologize and say you'll double their funds raised so far, then not do that and ghost.
Seems a little rude, to me.

I think that what he promised me (to double my current funds) was far too generous, and a single person shouldn't donate that much. I did tell him that he didn't need to feel like he had to donate at all, and that the only thing which bothered me, was that his friend replied to every single comment on the post, calling me a scammer. She wanted me to delete all my replies to her after I finally managed to prove that I'm not in fact a scammer, and she deleted her own comments too, hence the enitre comment section had turned into an ocean of deleted messages. 🤦🏻♀
After that, I simply hid the post and made the update into my main GFM post instead, this time with pictures and videos attached for proof that I am in Ukraine.
It took me a whole day of writing forth and back with her, as I didn't want to block her since I thought that might make her start her own smeer campaign against me lol. I told her that I went to bed late that evening, and when I woke up, both of them had blocked me. 😅
I didn't expect to see any money from either of them, but that wasn't the point for me anyways. I just think there's a right and a wrong way to go about it when you have concerns of that nature, and waking up to being blocked by them both after spending a whole day writing with them, felt a bit insulting. /=

@Miram I honestly think the woman is not well. Idk anything about the man, but it kind of felt like he just follows her around and agrees with everything she says. 😅
They both seem to have a disturbed worldview if I'm honest, and it's possible they have trauma of their own too deep to come back from, to be this way. The internet is probably all they have. /=

@Miram That is only because I talked with the woman privately in DMs later that night, and she seemed manic to be frank. I'm pretty sure she actually hit the character limit when she told me about her life (which of course I won't go into details about). 😅
I dislike talking about people behind their backs, but having heard how they behaved towards you and others, I am at a point where I dislike them even more. Mental illness is not an excuse to attack people either way, but it's helpful taking into consideration when dealing with nutcases.
