The wall of blindness
That misguides the mind..
The shade and the shadows
Blocking the sight
Daylight rises
Blighting the stars
Over the houses
Planets and satellites
Orbit the face of the earth
And birds call enthusiastically pre dawn
From the trees of the woods and the wires
Strung across the poles
Down the road
Houses rise in the clearings
Bunnies in the grass
Mounds of turtles’ tunnels, red clay and white sands
Pouring rain and blazing sun…
Heat that makes you wish for snow and
Pools of water
Watermelon sales on the roadside
Tree lines border the tracks
Miniature mountain piles of rocks
Excavations of sand and clay pits
Turtles crossing the road
Squirrels larger than a cat run by (fox squirrels)
And cows roaming their side of the fence
Bright green grass and blue skies
Girls playing in the river
ATVs roaming the trails
Such is life
Elsewhere homes are blown to shreds
But here we watch tv reruns
I haven't made an effort to watch the news
Like i used to.. i got distracted with
My own dreams
We haven't forgotten you
You’re still in our thoughts
We remember you
The fish of the sea swim free
Till the boaters lure them in
High waves beyond the coastline
And baby sharks in the basket
I saw an octopus once
The climb out of the bucket
Fish only flop
I miss my best flip flop that my dog tore to shreds
I wasn't going to buy a new one for 40$ when i got it used for 2$.. *sigh* too bad
I saw some nice sandals for a reasonable price but they weren't my size.. i looked but they were the only ones.. i photographed it to look up latter but i never have
Avoid irresponsible speakers..
