Some people can’t let go, even when they try their hardest. They forget that people change with time — some grow, some fall and nothing stays the same

That's true.

And yes, people change.

But if damage or hurt was done, and its not fixed by those who caused it....then yes, people can find it hard to let go.

Sometimes damage can alter the way a person's future pans out. Or it can alter the way they see life, and other people from that point on.
