I used to have a friend who would braid my hair whenever I was too lazy to do it myself

Sadly she moved away a while back. Wherever she is, I hope she’s doing okay :)

I braided my sisters’, my brother’s and the hair of friends when we were all young. My cousin taught me how to do Bantu knots, a very, very old hairstyle. Our grandmother used to wear it. It’s comfortable in hot weather.
