What are your feelings on amassing a lot of useless possessions through life?

As a youngster, I collected books and related items on a certain subject, which have never even been unpacked since I moved into my current home touching five years ago. Have you ever disowned very personal items ,and did you do it easily ?

At 55 years and over 14 moves later, I can’t even keep track of how many cherished possessions I’ve accumulated and then left behind over the course of my life.

Pretty much the only thing from my childhood that I still own is my comic book collection and I contemplate selling that off every other week…
