The previous occupants of my first home took the kitchen-sink as well!
Oh, and the toilet, washbasin and bath-taps - badly damaging the pipes connected to those taps as they did so.
(The property was repossessed and this theft was their revenge. The estate-agent brightly observed that I was lucky they had caused relatively little real damage - his trade sees far worse!)

When I was a kid we used to order a pizza from our local place called “the kitchen sink “ (hold the anchovies ).
And the paneling, and the ceiling, and the light fixtures.. so yeah.
