My hatred is intertwined with the pain that others have willingly brought to my door. It holds hands with my confusion, my insecurity, my inability to understand how people can do the things they do despite my knowledge of their inner workings. My hatred is a product of being reminded how small I am…how insignificant I am…how powerless I am and unfortunately it will always brew inside of me as long as my heart continues to connect with others. It’s why I have to soak up as much light as I can to just be able to function properly, and why I have to step back suddenly when I begin to smell the signature of a familiar fuel that’ll feed it too much.
