I have a strong vision but the way to funding seems always time consuming. I wish my visions would somehow be faster or easier to realize.
IUsedToBeHere · 26-30, MNew
What is your vision to do with and how does the funding work?
being · 36-40, F
@IUsedToBeHere art, healing and raising awareness, accessing higher realms of consciousness, love.
I need funding for the space. I can work with anything. But I would love it to be neat. There's so much work regarding the local public domain too.

@being That sounds like a charitable organization or a guru..
A girl stood at a stand, much like a lemonade stand, except there was no jug, no lemons, no cups.. Just a sign saying smiles for sale.
A bitter old man approaches the stand, looks at the sign and grumbles..
"Looks like a scam."
The young girl she laughs, and the old man he grimaces.
"How about I give your smile first? Then you can pay." She replies with a giggle.
The old man withered and mean, sees this as a challenge.
"Okay." He replies.
She sticks out her tongue and pulls a funny face, tugs on her pigtails and shows off her braces.
The old man he grunts then rolls his eyes.
For hours she tries, and the old man is miserable still, to no surprise.
Tired and penniless hours later, but the old man he laughs when the young girl she cries.
He gives her pay, as he walks off she sniffles "have a wonderful day."

@IUsedToBeHere well I don't know about the old man but I laughed, what type of software are you using? DadjokeAI?
IUsedToBeHere · 26-30, MNew
@being Lol, no.. it's more the concept of trying to sell good intentions and the old man is miserable so takes advantage of those with good intentions.
Those that are happy don't need to buy a smile, and those that aren't are often impossible to please. That might just be my own cynicism though.

@IUsedToBeHere it is yes, because there's gray there in the scale, people aren't usually happy or unhappy but all sort of colors!

@IUsedToBeHere I Don't have to worry about being scammed. I got apps on my phone that scan text messages , Scans my emails When I get phone calls? Don't let my phone ring because it's a scammer. Automatically reports the phone number for me And proceeds to block it for me. The other app I have goes through every Website that my name is on that I don't know about or any website that has my information. And erases it for me.

@IUsedToBeHere I got Is a poem I wrote personally. I call it:
Death & Resurrection: The light grew thin, a final, fading sigh,
A coldness claimed the breath beneath the sky.
The heartbeat stilled, the soul seemed forced to roam,
And silent hands prepared to bring him home.
A still repose, a moment sharp with dread,
The living mourned the newly numbered dead.
Then, a sudden, shocking, jagged breath,
A violent wrench that tore him back from death.
A gasp, a surge, a flicker in the gray,
The spirit's stubborn refusal to give way.
Eyes opened wide, reflecting new-born light,
Returned from silence to the dazzling bright.
The past dissolved, the future yet unknown,
Alive again, a seed from stone re-sown.

@LILPapi69 Scams come in many forms. It feels a little rude for me to say on the comment section of someone who wishes to do this spiritual self help stuff but for a long time I have seen that whole market as either a scam, or the product of naivety. That's my own experience though and I guess I incorporated that into the old man character subconsciously.
