Mr. Beeke is very proud of this update, as a subscriber I got an email of about 12 paragraphs supposedly written by him that it goes back 40 years when he was new in the ministry. I like how in the image there's a sense of humor there, the last time I got mad at dad was how he didn't see the humor.
So i'll be getting that plus Edward Reynolds, 2 Owens and a compact Bible, not sure whether i'll get a new Kindle yet, I go back and forth on it, as I want to build a physical library of this kind of thing, having close to a thousand on my kindle.
Close to a thousand is a pure guess, as there is only about 600 actual eBooks of the Puritan and Reformed in there but some are collections and complete works.
This is all there is for me, to spend my alone time with the giants of the Protestant faith, watching Beeke's superlative lecture series, which does indeed have sound and recording issues.
New releases are imminent John Cotton in mid-November, and others like Samuel Rutherford, Anthony Burgess, Thomas Watson and more!!
By the time I die I might have 2,000 works by Puritans and Reformed people, and that was I betcha foretold in an obscure passage in the book of Haggai. Just so you know, where in the original Hebrew without vowels it says through a mirror ---- poor guy collects 2k good books.
My mind will be more at peace by not being here too, because with each thing I say I reflect badly on them. Seclusion with the the materials I have in abundance will be just what I need. Love to you all!!
