what can you do when you 'don't really' want to interact with other men

in society? ideally, preferably- i'd like to just have interactions with women, that's what i really hope for...i'm in my late 40s now, lived alone 20 years...and don't have a big support mechanism, just my elderly parents who live far.

i manage difficult mental health problems and often feel isolated and cut off from society....and what i really seek is interaction with women, i don't get on with many people i have found but if anything, i only want to have encounters with women.

that goes for online as well, and it frustrates and annoys me at the times when men respond to me and no one else? because i don't want that.

what do you think? am i being unreasonable or unrealistic? - i just think ' i want what i want' and that's it.

I mostly have female friends for exactly this reason. You can't really avoid interacting with both genders altogether bc it's wildly unreasonable to ask for that, but you can cultivate a friend circle that fits what you want.

When I don’t want to interact with anyone, I politely request that I would not like to chat. And fortunately I am respected.
