Mom and dad used to watch Madame Secretary religiously

But now he doesn't like it, they took his favorite legal drama Bull off and replaced it with Madame, and it's like a bad cliche contributing to a woe is me aura. I guess i should put in a Gunsmoke dvd or those inoffensive 50s to 70s shows, but as i type there's just 20 minutes before 100 Huntley Street, he gets inspiration from that.

For me i got just around half an hour left in my Huysmans book, next finish may be Frankenstein, but the reader of that, while good, is making it sound like a sob-fest.

I'm not rushing through any of my audiobooks, that's a juvenile approach, however i expect my listening times to depart from the rookie numbers before you can say Jack went up the hill and Jane made him go back down and get the map.

Yes, you draw quite a good comparison there. I had the same thing going with The Westwing. Of course, it was, is and never will be anything like the real thing. The difference with the Gunsmoke era is that the thinking man and woman should already know that reality is always far more complex, fleetly and ultimately unpredictable
