When some people demand proof, i see it as a false projection of being able to recognize proof that doesn't already align with their views

To my latest blocker, i would pass along a clarification that i failed to communicate, that i see the honoring of a death as the same as celebrating.

Now it was a mistake to respond to a post like that, my mind is in enough of a mess with that added to it.

Alarming things are occurring however, and i get tired of seeing perpetuated erroneous blame games being played. It doesn't matter to me in the grand scheme of things, it's just also saddening that it's effecting things like it is, solitude with the great works from the past increases in value in such pathetic and dangerous times.

Whenever anyone has ever asked for "proof" for whatever it may be that I believe or that we're discussing, I always ask that person, "What, in your view, would constitute 'proof'"? They usually cannot answer this, or, if they can, the answer given will be incoherent or unreasonable. I've also come to learn that it's usually the case that no amount of evidence would ever convince the die-hard sceptic anyway, so why should I waste my breath?

That statement makes sense to me.
Some peeps just love to carp. 🎤

Or maybe they just need proof, instead of blindly believing what they're told.

@Nyxxx I lack what it takes to do that for them, so kudos to those well equipped for that kind of effort.

@TheYawnArchive Seriously? It's nothing special to simply tell, show, or point someone in the direction of, the truth.

@Nyxxx Nothing I say will alter their POV, imo, so I opt for not trying if basic reality isn't enough already.
