Fun self discipline
At least for the whole of next year I'm on a major audiobook binge, a daily average of 17hrs is to be maintained, on a good day I can get to 22hrs, but then that can't be maintained, so the aim will always be over 10hrs, and as often as I can do over 20hrs, will the avg. be 17? That's the kind of mathematical fun we're talking about.
It's nice to post as I listen, right now the end is soon for #1 of 125:
Wuthering Heights ---- and I LOVE the narrator Joanne Froggatt, British accent, like that lady that had consumption in Penny Dreadful, that actress was a New Who companion also.
I might be polishing off a 2nd before midnight, The Warden by Anthony Trollope, beginning of The Barchester Chronicles.
I must save a yearly sum of 5000, at 500 for 8 mo. and 250 for 4 mo. For those 4 months i'll hit the 24 credit annual audible plan for roughly 330 CAD, that's 96 plus anything i want for under $14, well over 100 new books per year, and for each 4 month period i must listen to at least 24 titles in the plus catalog.
It's all about this for me, shun me people, i'm no longer a social butterfly, heckle my posts, wag those fingers, throw fruit and vegetables at them, and all that, hehe.
In 2027 i like to think this process will sufficiently equip me to retire from SW completely, and only have pleasant memories where people were nice to a horrendously slimy book monster. 😌
