If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do with it?

I thought about this and came to the conclusion that at my age I have everything I need materially and so choosing what to do with a large sum of money would be quite difficult. I don't want to leave it where there would be a lot of inheritance tax to pay on the day I depart this part of my life so I would want to give as much as I could away now to places that could benefit from it.

It's fairly academic because I don't play the lottery, but I do invest in the British government Premium Bonds which could bring me £1 million as a prize, but the advantage is I never lose my investment and most months I get much smaller amounts added to my current account. I'm pretty sure that I'll never have to worry about it.

Edited because the dictation into the computer came out as nonsense in sentence one 🤦‍♀
@FreddieUK I like that

@FreddieUK You can give the children their inheritance while you're still alive in this case, it's not tied up in property that you're living in... or maybe set up trust funds.

@HootyTheNightOwl I have no children, only adopted grandchildren. Yes, they would come into the equation if ever the situation arose.
