how do you handle jealousy feelings

like i've been in a situation in the past where i liked a woman, but i saw she was showing interest in another guy and it made me feel very angry? i know it's wrong to feel like that but how can you stop it?

i think deep down i want to control other people but realize i can't control others...so it must be some psychological problem, but at least i have insight into it.

I have struggled with jealousy for much of my life. As with many things, getting older does take the edge off it a bit. I hope this gets easier for you.
