how do you deal with being in a vulnerable situation

i'm in a bit of a predicament, i live alone as i have done for 20 years....my main support system, my elderly mum and dad live far away now...and i generally have to cope alone and just recently i've been given health appointments i have to go to.....one is to get a 24hr blood pressure monitor put on at my pharmacy....and 2nd i have an appointment at the hospital just recently with the cardiology to check something with my heart......have a heart investigation....so i wondering what i'm going to do and how i will get there?

i have a good gp fortunately so im going to phone him tomorrow to talk about it with him.....but i suffer with severe anxiety as it is and i'm really worried and feeling overwhelmed at the moment.

how can i get my head together and be a man about this? i feel so much fear right now.

It sounds like you need some help with anxiety issues as well as your physical problems. Not knowing where you are that is to say whether you're in the countryside in a city near public transit or not, it's going to be difficult for anyone to advise you on the actual transport. Dealing with your own anxiety, I'm afraid of something that you need someone close by to help you with.

I hope you're able to get it sorted in time. It's great that you've got a good GP.
