There are people on SW with varying degrees of mental struggles, myself included. Probably most of us actually. It's why I joined EP many years ago.

So it makes me sick to see the people who are experiencing some serious issues be trolled mercilessly. I don't just mean PTSD and depression, which I've also seen and experienced harrowing for, I mean mental illness that causes them delusion and stress. And to see these people be messed with and stressed out for amusement is disgusting and sad.

Seriously what kind of shit are you on about yourself to torment people who are troubled?

Yet I see the same people coddling substance abuse and fetishes...

How do some of you turds pick and choose who's misfortune is okay to laugh at?

One of the reasons l took some time off from here after my knee surgery. One needs to heal both physically and mentally. Sometimes it just makes sense to stay away from the trolls and those who are far too negative and opinionated.

I find it sad and disgusting that someone would scoff, laugh or make fun of someone with any sort of illness. Whether it be psychological or physical. We all struggle in life for various reasons.

I like to believe that humanity has evolved in a decent and respectful way. Especially with what's happening all around us today. We all should at least try to show some kindness and empathy.

@sensualbeauty1 Hello Beauty, great to see you again, but sorry it's on such a terrible topic.

I hope your knee is doing well and thank you for brightening my day by seeing you here!

@sensualbeauty1 I totally agree. If you can’t say anything nice than move on.
Welcome back and I love the new profile picture.

Two words for you "Social Boundaries", a lot of us seem to either be on the autism spectrum, are self diagnosed or otherwise belong on the spectrum.

Others have other conditions that cause them to dissociate - not that that excuses some of the worst messages I've had and seen around here... but I try to reason that whoever has the front clearly doesn't understand appropriate conduct (and SW doesn't have any rules about only the host being present on here - which I'm thankful for).

I approach a lot of things with good nature and humor, but I think you have to pick your spots for that. I think it’s usually clear who’s posting something for a bit of banter compared to someone who’s posting to express pain and struggle. I’ve shared some really devastating recent events as well as the slice of life good humored stuff since returning here. I think it should be as simple as the golden rule. Just treat people the way you want to be treated.
I hate this part about social media. This has to be one of the worst sites for this. (Almost) Everything made into a joke and for some to troll mercilessly. I won't name people I have seen trolled this way, that only adds into the cruelty though it could call some out for their actions.

It's why in time I have been careful of whom I interact with and make friends with. There seems to be a running theme it's okay to mock. It's one thing to disagree, give a difference of opinion in respect, then it is to treat someone like a running joke.

I don't' quote scripture often but there was an observation made that

Out of the heart's abundance the heart speaks

many people have shriveled and ugly hearts

If I’m a culprit here, it’s unknowingly so. So I apologize. Sometimes I take my sense of humor too far.

I agree, a little kindness goes a long way and to kick someone when they are already down is just deplorable.
