I got criticised at work yesterday

And it hit me so hard I had to go hide in the bathroom for a little while.
I don’t know why I’m so bloody sensitive! Any little criticism just totally gets to me.
Sorry that my posts recently haven’t been very positive, I promise to write something fun soon!

I'm sorry about that. I used to get like that too, but as I've matured I try my best to learn from it and use my precieved criticism as advice. I try to put my feet in their shoes. Chances are your boss was dreading it as much as you dreaded hearing it. Try to dust yourself off and be the best you can be darlin'!

Thankyou, you’re probably right. I do take things that people say really to heart and I need to be way more reasonable. It feels so harsh at the time though and I seem to cry so easily. I need to remember to breathe!@Promises

Haha yeah, I know! I suppose I’m concerned about how I react to criticism (probably all through my life, but I’m really noticing now.) I’m so over sensitive it’s unbelievable. @HoeBag

@Strongtea The older we get, the less tolerant to BS we become.

By 21, we are just NOT capable of putting up with high-school type drama. Full fledged adult.

doing the things other people do could help a lot

Oh gosh, that’s heartbreaking! Yeah, I really need to do something about my life (stands up, theatrically pushes my desk over, tells my boss that I quit and that the next time she sees me it will be on TV, opens the door, walks through and slams it shut only to re-amerge moments later saying ‘that is the broom cupboard’.)@mysteryespresso
