I’m realizing that when people say they care here…

Ive had some unbelievable things,loving kindness,shown to me online.My laptop broke down,I told a friend,two hours later he arrived at my door with a boxed gaming laptop,far better than the one I had.There are some lovely,genuine people in this world still.Good Bless.

Same. I went through experience where trying to help others, but you have to worry about you're own timing when they get use to you and they need more of your attention time. I don't do that anymore especially I have other things to worry about. That's another reason why I'm afraid of talking to people while having other things in mind.

There are some lovely, kind, caring people here but I’ve learned it’s best to keep my expectations low and like you’ve said, not take this place too seriously.

People may truly care. I know I mean it when I say so.
But what we can do is often limited by distance and circumstances. As others here have said, better to lower one’s expectations.

People care about the situation someone is going through and feel compassion for anyone going through a troubled path. But caring for an individual per say.... I can understand what you mean.

I have not experienced any type of strong positive connections on this site...at least not yet. I have on other sites in the past. I have not come across many that even want to chat...naturally, part of it needs to be two people clicking.

Its like panning for gold...you'll find a lot of fools gold before you find the good stuff.
