me i just hope that if jesus is there after death, he will welcome you to the better place nstead of going to hell
@pikminboy Is this also you LadyGrace? Your true face revealed? I know it hurts when you cannot control the conversation, turn it to your way of thinking, but seriously? Get a life.. You can figure it out and return to normalcy if you try. I am rooting for you. You can do this.
@JamesBugman Oops, looks like I was right. lol.

I'm sorry friend, but that doesn't match up with where the Bible says we go.

@LadyGrace My mother is a believer and a lot of my family are dour Presbyterians no pubs or shops open on Sundays, thats on isle of Lewis where I was born ,What I have seen through my job finding suicides and drug overdoses ,murders ,makes me think if there is a God he needs to buck his ideas up.
@LadyGrace its not respectful to come along and shit all over someone's belief - especially when its from the heart.

You get to have your belief on your posts, and he gets to have his on his posts.

Its not like hes made hundreds of posts about his belief and tries nearly every day to shove it down others throats.

He made a very poetic, ambiently vulnerable and soul smiling post about what he sees in nature and its possibilities - who on earth is souless enough to come in and slap that down coldly all because they can't see it or appreciate the vibe ?

Geez !
GovanDUNNY · M
I believe we have been here before and will return .
@GovanDUNNY Perhaps you are right, but you won't return in your former self, you will be a mix of all parts of all living things, the same as you are now. A miracle of life.
GovanDUNNY · M
@JamesBugman We are living in a miracle James

Nature is a correct conclusion. Your interpretation of it would not include evidence for afterlife. An interesting take nonetheless.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@EarthGirl death is not natural
EarthGirl · 18-21, F
@Ferise1 It happens all the time. Look about you.
Ewelinka · 18-21, F
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Ewelinka I already said Newark! 😠
Ewelinka · 18-21, F
@basilfawlty89 Whats that
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Ewelinka a "city" in theory, the portal to hades in practice.
We will find out one day
Locke ·
In the ground.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Locke not necessarily!

Some get cremated...
Locke ·
@basilfawlty89 That’s very true. But in my family we have a designated place where those ashes are interred.

It’s a nice way of family staying together and it’s easier to tend one patch of land rather than many graves. Daffodils grow there in the spring, tulips in the summer. When it’s my turn I’ll be the fourth generation to rest there.
Northwest · M
The same place we were at 1000 years ago.
@Northwest “On a planet that is billions of years old, in just 500 years, much of the human race has come to see itself as the rulers and center of all life. Today, we are still trying to bend the planet’s environment, processes, and biodiversity to our will. Our vast, sprawling cities have pushed nature out of sight and out of mind. “

“The world is attempting to meet the urgent challenge of climate change. But can anything fundamentally change while we still see ourselves as somehow separate from Earth?”
Northwest · M
@JamesBugman Just trying to answer your question: Where we go when we die
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
No.
We end up in Newark, NJ.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
There is no 'i' that goes anywhere.
As in life there is no fixed 'i' or self that travels from moment to moment.
The self is an illusion.
RedBaron · M
Unless, of course, we don’t go anywhere but into the ground and you’re just on drugs. 🤣
RedBaron · M
@JamesBugman There’s nothing positive about death.
@RedBaron A lot of people would disagree. It is the last thing we all experience, that we know of, but maybe, just maybe there is a little bit more.
RedBaron · M
@JamesBugman That’s nice wishful thinking.

@jshm2 Never touched drugs in my life, never will. I don't drink or smoke or go to church. I haven't had caffeine in over 15 years. I walk 30,000 steps every day, do 100 sit-ups every evening (OK I may be a little off on my count, but honestly the fish was T........ H.........I............S big).
It's OK, I am not expecting anyone else to actually go and look for souls in trees, just mentioning that I saw them.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
I think it’s really bad news, unfortunately
@Ferise1 I am guessing because you are a logger?
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@JamesBugman tree logger? LOL.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
We go into infinite pain
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@JamesBugman because being born is natural but dying is unnatural. Your body stays exactly the same but it’s lifeless. That’s gotta hurt.
@Ferise1 I dunno, I think it likely hurts a lot every time our cells divided. Imagine your balls growing and how much that must have hurt, you just don't remember it. ;)
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@JamesBugman tru. we are much more sensitive as a child.
