@JonUK41 My family lived off Railton Road at the time. Wasn't born yet, but my sister was 1 when it all kicked off.

@JonUK41 Yes,and not only in the U.K. - the disorder was widely reported around the world,occurring as it did in the lead up to Charles and Diana's wedding in the Summer of 1981.
