A specific situation I dislike

Anyone else hate when you make an effort writing a detailed reply to a text, you reply to all the things the person asked about, then they disregard everything you wrote, not acknowledging anything that's been said?

It's like all the effort doesnt matter. Just makes you feel dumb. Like a fool

Am I asking too much to be acknowledged?

No, but yes.

I've read your posts.
Youve been captured. Netted and gutted.
You are right where they want you, responding and caring - just like they want you to.
They've left you abandoned to yearn and seek them out, to validate them.
Emotional vampires do this.
Its how they feed.
They get you into a trauma bond so youll live on scraps of attention while they suck the soul from your skin. They draw out every drop of your heart until you are read to give up, and then they allow you some token of softness to ease you back into their web.

Its not unreasonable a request - from a normal person.
But from this type, yes, its asking what they will never give. They dont have the care to spare.
It was never about both of you. It was always about them.
It will always be about them.

Im so sorry
