I think that depends on whether you are being honest with the answers.

I think honesty is certainly a factor, but I think people also struggle with actually knowing who they are as well, and everything that is.

@Winterwanderer: yes but it doesn't have to be. Others who have become aware of what you said have learned to stop the struggle and go with the flow.

I don't really know what that means, how do you stop the struggle and go with the flow? What gets you there? Because there are always things that are to be considered when concerning defining yourself:

Who you are, who you think you are, who you want to be, who you were, who others think you are, how other treat you, what you've done, what you do.

There are many factors that go into defining one's self, how do you stop the struggle if you don't replace it with some new kind of intuition? And how could you know it's accurate?
