What’s something that made you believe that a friend was rich when staying at their house when you were younger?

I've always only had friends from standard middle class families. I deliberately avoided rich kids because I thought they were snobby and bragging but they were just living their life like they always used to. They never knew anything else. Either way, I always avoided social circles where I knew I didn't belong .
