What’s something that made you believe that a friend was rich when staying at their house when you were younger?

The bathroom had gold plated taps, when I first got to know her they had half a dozen peacocks in an enclosure in the garden, as we got older the peacocks were replaced with a heated swimming pool, she had 3 horses and a grand piano.

As well as all that she had the biggest grandest dolls house I've ever seen, it even had working lights and I confess I was very jealous of her dolls house.

She was one of the loveliest people I've ever known rich or poor.
