how should you react to someone who is reluctant to interact with you

but you see that person willingly interact with others and enjoy it, yet, it's like they behave they wouldn't touch you with a 12 ft bargepole?

how should you react to that? without getting really angry?

I would try to think of how this isn't personal, it's obviously something being triggered within them from their past .. unless I am being a jackass of course! If I manage to stick on to that perception that it has nothing to do with me and it has all to do with them... It is easier to steer my attention towards myself and something else or someone else.
There are some times that these people hold important pivotal positions especially in the workplace or family.. in this situation good luck🤞🏼
