Why are you so opposed to the holiday season?

Please don't say because it's commercial.

Because life is what you make it. Noone holds you hostage and makes you buy everything in the damn shop!

I'm not opposed to it at all. It brings joy to a lot of people. And I agree with you that no one forces anyone to overspend at Christmastime. Nice gifts really don't have to be expensive.
