Why are you so opposed to the holiday season?

Please don't say because it's commercial.

Because life is what you make it. Noone holds you hostage and makes you buy everything in the damn shop!

What's the real reason?

After losing so many loved ones, the holidays no longer have the same enchantment for me, but I'm not against it; it's wonderful, especially for the kids.
