Where on this planet, I wonder, do you dwell? Or did you at all?

Why did you not reveal yourself to me, if you loved me?

Could you love me now, as a best forever friend?

But there I go dreaming again.

It's a shame I never found you in life. I looked, but to no avail.

And now....time has set my future for me.

Though you don't know it, I have loved you forever.

I still see you in my mind's eye, but now you don't stay as long as I would like.

And I'm afraid I've grown much too weary to keep holding on to a mere dream.

If you were real, maybe I will see you in heaven.

I sure hope so. At least eternity is forever. 🌹🫂
