why have they decided to do this on this helpline i sometimes ring

i ring a mental health helpline sometimes to get my thoughts out...been ring for years now but just the other day i phoned and a recorded message came on the line before the phone started ringing, a male voice saying that '' these calls are now recorded, not to identify you, but to help us get better at what we do''.

i say thats a crock of shit, they're doing it to listen in on your private call, bastards.....what do you think of this?
