Got to do a makeup clean out today. Taking up too much space. Plus some is just too old.

I akways think I'll get creative. Use more colors of makeup. I never do.

Why is this so hard to throw stuff away?

Sometimes the collection does tend to grow and grow. I tried making a yes and no pile, but the yes pile always seem to stay the same.

@Bexsy Norm Abram, of the PBS show The New Yankee Workshop (and, earlier, This Old House) liked to say that a Yankee value was to reuse materials/items, rather than throwing them out (frugality).

It might be a just a regional conceit; here, most guys who do projects love to hang on to everything, a trait which I have picked up from my own dad.

But perhaps it grew out of early Protestant values and the fact that having goods shipped from England likely cost a rather pretty penny...
