Miram If by girlfriend you mean a female friend who I get romantic with, make out with, or get sexual with, then a few. If you mean someone who mutually had an understanding with me that we are in a boyfriend/girlfriend dynamic, then like... three, and two of them were literally when I was in middle school 😅
Part of the reason for that is because I care about marriage so much, which brings me to answering your second question. I am an extreme monogamist who believes in marriage, and I think it's honestly wrong to be with someone who you're sure you'll never have the connection of "I will give my life to you". This is why I have had so few girlfriends, cause I didn't wanna waste their time, or break their heart.
There was an older woman who took me in and taught me about sex. She was kinda like a girlfriend looking back, but we never commited, and there was no heartbreak or anything when she got with a dude; we're still close friends.
I'v thought about the whole girlfriend/boyfriend dynamic, but i'm not sure it's for me unless I really think she could be the one, other wise there's too much heartbreak, plus it feels kinda like using someone, right? Idk, that's how I see it. What do you think?
