Dang mind thinking too much…

Lately my brain has been fixated on the last boyfriend I had before I got married. It was quite a while ago. Not sure why my brain won’t let it go.

I miss him greatly. I’d love to just touch base, maybe even just see what he looks like. We were so young back then, but he was a super special person. Distance played a role in why it didn’t work out. But, why must my brain taunt me like this. I’m still married, so not like I’m single. Bah.

In other news, if you’re 45 with red hair and from Arkansas, hit me up. 😂😂😂

Something must be going wrong in your marriage if your thinking of a past love. Would this mean you no longer love your husband?

@ScarletWitch The horror of my own heart is that literally nothing would have to be wrong for my mind to sometimes wander from mine. Lord knows I literally would have DIED For Lyssa and still occasionally had thoughts of others.

@ScarletWitch I find your understanding of this topic to be lacking. we are not all wired the same way. if you understood you would realize that emotions do not work the same way for all of us. it's also rather naive to expect one person is going to magically make all of our desire for anyone else just disappper if it's "real" there's no such thing as "the one."

i've been attracted to muitple people my entirely life. I realized i was different from other children very young.

@PDXNative1986 You might have to work on yourself then. I have never had those thoughts. My significant other doesnt either. Our love goes to only each other. For 10 years we have no love for anyone but us. And there is such a thing as the one. At least maybe not in your world.

@ScarletWitch I'm happy for you, truly. But, what works for you, might not work for everyone.

It honestly feels, very frequently like women are very rarely attracted to anyone at all so it's very difficult for them to imagine the sithuaton we as men confront every single freaking day.

I'm in an environment where in a huge way, there are so many options and many of them are quite wonderful and it's a torturous challenge to not want all of them at once.
