Does Middle-Child Syndrome exist?…. Yes it does ( I’m a middle child) 😒

I'm last born. But was always the one who took care my sisters

My fourth child has the traits of the only child.....
My third born is the traits of the Last born, though he hates attention and is not outgoing.
My middle child though???She is not a people pleaser, is a peacemaker only when it suits her and is not terribly adaptable and prefers to not be independent when it suits her.
My first born is also the traits of the last born.

I was the middle child for most of my life. Until my last sister was born and I got even less attention 🤣
But, at least in my personal experience, I really can't relate to this. Peacemaker and adaptable definitely, but the others ehhh

My younger brother absolutely got way more attention

My brother is the middle child but he was the favourite of my parents particularly my Dad. He is the peacemaker now though. He was also the most individualistic growing up.

This is why everyone is so confused figuring out which one I am - my personality shows a mix of all of them (even though I'm the oldest child).

I always felt left out because my older and youngest siblings always got attention and was treated like black sheep I guess, was often ignored. I am not a rebel nor a peacemaker I could care less about toxic family members problems and I am not much of a social person. I often wished I was an only child.

Yep, I'm the middle kid.

Except in my case, my older brother is the golden child of our mother despite that he's the middle one, and myself being the last born is treated by her as the black sheep.
