In one sense, this age is like high school graduation. You know you’re going to lose people who have been important to you.
Life has been rough on you recently. I have some inkling of what that’s like. I too have begun distancing myself from emotional entanglements, whether new close friendships or romantic possibilities. I lack the courage.
