i realize this sounds stupid

[c=BF0080][i]but i'm terrified of ending up on my own once my elderly parents are no longer around? - i was overprotected and spoiled by my mum mainly and have always been close to her.....i now live alone in a flat, which ive lived in since 2005....i have no other support apart from my mum and dad and im just scared of a time when they won't be here? here to talk to? for love and support....and i'll be completely alone in the world.

i already get very lonely and isolated living apart from my parents, even though ive lived here now a long time.

what am i going to do do you think? i'm 46 now.[/i][/c]

I hope you’re able to find a sense of community somewhere; whether at work or a church or club. The older that people get, the more important that becomes as more and more family and friends die off, unfortunately. 😔

@Colonelmustardseed i know you are right, hopefully that can happen with me, but know people won't come knock at my door, so i have to somehow make it happen.
