If going out isn't really an option, why not a different kind of escapism you can do at home? If you're able to easily immerse yourself, which I understand is not something everyone can do, why not give video games a shot? When I was younger and having a hard time, I'd load up an RPG and just let myself get lost in that world for a few hours. Sometimes I didn't even really play the game. I just kind of... wandered around. Explored. Found interesting views. And when I did really play, I'd sometimes meet some cool people. It helped me forget my problems for a little while and let go of stress. Maybe it would for you, too.
