I realize when I'm really upset or just in a very depressed mood, I always come here.

It's hard to reach out to people you know and they always tell me they are here for me but I feel like a complete nuisance and sometimes it's just easier to talk to people that you barely know, does the sound awful? It probably does...

It does not sound awful at all.

Before the Internet, people went to bars and vented to the bartender or to fellow bar patrons, all of whom they barely knew.

That probably still happens.

At least here, you don't have to leave a tip or pay for other people's drinks!

I'm very grateful to the internet and social media, I love connecting people without having to leave the comfort of my home.
