There's a bunch of ways. Talking to a professional isn't the worst call. Since that's what they're trained for. Here's another option. Don't think just about yourself but consider the lifetime of pain that those closest to you would have to go through. Maybe considering others is something to take seriously.
Or you could try being appreciative. Do you have food, water, clothing, electricity, housing, physical health? Because BILLIONS don't. Hell, more than half of the world's population doesn't have access to a flush toilet. So maybe being thankful for what you do have is something to think about. Good luck.
